Changing Times
In his great wisdom Solomon wrote that there is a season for everything, or in not so poetic words things change. It is kind of the nice, or at the very least interesting, part of life. As Kim goes into her internship in a week the two of us are starting to look to where next? We will both be done with Bethany a very bitter sweet thing indeed as this school has been my home for the last 7ish years (by far the longest I have ever lived in one spot). As with any change there is a fear but there is no hesitation about moving on.
The two of us are exploring, preparing, and praying one option that has got us both very excited. It will mean a lot of work (probably more for me then Kim), and moving to a new adventure (oddly to a place not much bigger than Sussex). We will be leaving the friends we know, for new friends and oddly some old ones to. But this all part of the adventure. The time now is to figure out if this is the direction God wants us to go. We have found out of late that can be a very heart breaking thing to not go the way he wants, though the joy and rewards are plenty when you change to his directions.
I’d ask all who read us to join us in prayer this month so that God’s wisdom would be made clear. Hopefully it won’t be long till we can announce our location of journey (a clue to those curios it starts with an A). For if God is with us what challenges in this world or the one unseen can stand against us.
